What a sensational (and hot π₯΅) day by the pool today as the Jayβs, Byron and Issy competed in the UQ short course transition meet.

Emmanuel College SC Meet
What a big weekend for Team Gullivers at the Emmanuel College SC development meet yesterday. We had a big presence with lots of newbies joining Coach Bec for their first meet.

Broadwater Sharks LC Transition Meet & Redlands LC Preparation Meet
This weekend saw Team Gullivers competing at both the Broadwater Sharks Transition Meet and the Redlands Preparation Meet, kicking off the commencement of long course season.

Surfers Paradise Development Meet
What a sensational weekend for Team Gullivers! We had an awesome turn out with 16 of our swimmers bringing their A game to compete against 22 Gold Coast clubs at the Surfers Paradise Development Meet on Saturday.
The team went home with a swag of medals, most achieving new PBβs and we welcomed 4 new club members to their very first swim meet.
Some of the team were even privileged to meet Olympic swimmer David Morgan while getting a few tips for their next butterfly event!

Gold Coast Short Course Championships
What a HUGE weekend for our champion swimmers who competed at the Gold Coast SC Championships.
We had 8 members of our team competing in 22 different events and the results were outstanding.
The entire team walked away having reached new PBβs to be proud of and our two superstar breaststrokers Jay B and Ashtiva scored themselves a bronze medal in their 50m breaststroke events.
Congratulations to everyone who competed and a special welcome to Ruby who competed at her very first event.

Yesterday was a BIG one for team Gullivers with 20 of our swimmers competing at the Donald Swim Club SC Meet.
It was a challenging pool with some tough Brisbane competition and we are so proud of the team’s effort and achievements.
More than anything though, we are so proud of the team spirit and the support our swimmers provide to each other.
When they’re not swimming, our team is right there by the pool’s edge cheering, clapping and yahooing for their team mates. Maybe you even heard us from Coomera?? We certainly are a loud bunch!

Today 4 of our club swimmers took part in the Australia Day SC meet at Waterworx Aquatic and it was a superb day by the pool (despite the heat π₯΅).

Well team, thatβs a wrap for the 2023 Trinity Team Cup. What a day, what awesome swimming and what a HUGE lot of fun!!!

What a way to kick off the summer swim season of 2023!
Congrats to Suah, Byron, Alexis & Ashtiva on an awesome day by the pool.
Suah is the newest member of the team and took out a bronze medal in her first ever 50m butterfly event. What an achievement!!
Byron smashed more than 4 seconds and Alexis more than 15 seconds, off their 100m freestyle time in sensational swims.
Ashtiva scored herself a bronze medal for her 100m breaststroke π₯, a 3 second PB in her 50m freestyle and completed her very first 200m individual medley. This is becoming a trend Ash!!
We are so proud of our team and canβt wait to see them all again next weekend at the Trinity Team Cup!!!

Some of our talented young swimmers had the opportunity to attend the Junior Development Clinics at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre held by Swimming Gold Coast. The focus of the 2 hour clinics was starts, turns and dives which was perfectly timed for our busy Summer swim season.

Saturday was the last of the swim meetβs for our team for 2022. Β The team was split with Byron and Jay B competing at the Ipswich Grammar School Transition meet and Alexis and Zareah competing at the Nudgee College Transition meet.
All swimmers gave it their all for their last event with another batch of PBβs from Jay B and Byron as well as Jay scoring 2nd placeπ₯ in the 25m breaststroke and 3rd in 25m freestyleπ₯.

At the end of November our team competed at the Rackley Hibiscus Transition Meet. The event was our best yet with everyone smashing their long course PBβs in the most perfect spring sunshine. We couldnβt have asked for a better way to wrap up a successful year of swimming.

The Gullivers team competed today (in the heat βοΈ ) at the sensational Somerset Development Meet.

The entire team was on fire producing PB’s left, right and centre and our newcomer Ashtiva was the superstar of the meet placing 1st in all 5 of her events!!
