Club committees are a crucial component of sports clubs. The Gullivers Coomera Swimming Club committee consists of people elected on behalf of our members. A small group of dedicated parents that are able to volunteer their time are the perfect choice. However, to volunteer you must be a current swim club member.
Our main role as a committee is ensure the sustainable future of the club. For instance, duties of the committee include:
- Achieving the strategic goals and objectives of the club;
- Managing financial affairs;
- Raising money for the club via fundraising events or grants;
- Communicating with members; and
- Making decisions that are in the best interest of the club
An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held each year to elect committee members to fill committee positions. Your time as a committee member will be rewarding and new members are always welcome. So, to get involved simply reach out to any of our current members (listed below) or contact us via email.
